The origins of the words ‘Khadya Sastra’ comes from the language Sanskrit. The word Khadya meaning tasty food, and the words Sastra or Shastra is generally used as a suffix in the Indian literature context, for technical or specialized knowledge in a defined area of practice. Khadya Sastra means or connotes a repository of knowledge or a treatise which specializes in the preparation of tasty cuisines

  • Our current product range of chutney powders are expertly curated to act as additives along a sumptuous meal or breakfast. They are prepared using traditional recipes, and with utmost importance to the process, where we strictly use organic raw materials with no added chemicals or preservatives.
  • There are many multiple health benefits in consuming our chutney powders, as it is based on the benevolent observations of our ancestors, who observed many benefits of seeds and grains when they are part of our meals. Scientific research and Ayurveda has established many beneficial uses of our ingredients such as Moringa (Drumstick Leaves), Curry leaves, Niger Seeds, Sprouted Fenugreek, Flax Seeds & Horse gramThey help in improving overall health conditions, and also help control ailments such as diabetes, blood pressure & joint pains.

Khadya Sastra is a food products manufacturing company based out of Bangalore India. Our main specialty and focus is on making tastier food products using organic raw materials with no chemicals or added preservatives. Our recipes come from the traditional kitchens of southern Karnataka, and our food products reflect them in their taste and quality.  

Started in 2015, Khadya Sastra, has made is mark in the food industry with its quality of food products and unique offering of age old traditional recipes. Our aim is to popularize the traditional tastes of south Karnataka’s kitchen to a larger audience, without compromising on quality and standards. A little bit too much, though, is not good, so have them in moderation.
